LogBuch permite la agregación de datos en el monte, con una sencilla evaluación estos datos y su posterior procesamiento. La combinación de la grabación de voz y el botón Bluetooth permite la localización precisa de los árboles con manos libres y la grabación simultánea de información importante sobre el árbol, como las instrucciones de seguridad o la planificación de los procedimientos de trabajo. Se puede determinar el volumen de corte previsto y planificar la corta. Tanto los selvicultores como los operarios del aprovechamiento reciben información detallada (es posible la conexión cruzada con sistemas de terceros).
La tecnología consiste en: un receptor GNSS de 2 frecuencias que se conecta a un smartphone para estimar la posición actual, un botón bluetooth que se utiliza para el análisis del lenguaje. Toda la información hablada puede ser grabada, transcrita y clasificada automáticamente, y la posición actual registrada. La WLAN se utiliza para el intercambio de datos entre el smartphone, el servidor web y otros usuarios. Los datos se pueden exportar como mapa o tabla en formatos georreferenciados o no georreferenciados (xlsx, GeoJson, shp, GPX, map).

Entre sus aplicaciones están la preparación del aprovechamiento de madera, el establecimiento de un "inventario" digital, cartografía (también de plantación) mediante la conexión de puntos registrados, mapeo de pistas de arrastre mediante la función de línea (en base a la certificación o control del aprovechamiento), navegación remota a través de Google Maps. Además, es posible el registro de los árboles del hábitat, apoyo a la organización de la caza (puestos, montería, rutas, etc.) y medidas de seguridad del transporte.

Firma FeltGIS została założona w 2016 roku przez trzech przedsiębiorców z branży informatycznej i leśnej w celu opracowania dogodnych rozwiązań cyfrowych zwiększających efektywność łańcucha wartości w leśnictwie. Dziś zespół FeltGIS składa się z czterech wspólników, a sama firma jest spółką z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, należącą do grupy wspólników. Wśród oferowanych rozwiąząń znajduje się FeltBox - bezprzewodowy router, który łączy maszyny leśne z aplikacją FeltLogg. Aplikacja umożliwia dwukierunkową komunikację z komputerem, co pozwala operatorowi maszyny leśnej na otrzymywanie opisów zadań do wykonania i przesyłanie danych produkcyjnych. Są one nastepnie umieszczane w centralnej bazie danych, a użytkownik ma pełną kontrolę nad tym, jakie dane są przesyłane i może je udostępnić partnerom z całego łańcucha wartości. FeltBox można łatwo i niskim kosztem zainstalować na dowolnej maszynie leśnej, niezależnie od producenta. System uzyskuje dostęp do regularnych aktualizacji i przesyłania informacji za pośrednictwem smartfona, nie wymaga osobnego połączenia z Internetem.

Do tej pory rozwiązania FeltGIS zostały wdrozone w ponad 100 przedsiębiorstwach w Norwegii, a podobna liczba wdrożeń jest obecnie realizowana w innych krajach. Zespół FeltGIS aktywnie pracuje nad zindywidualizowanymi rozwiązaniami dla rynku krajowego i międzynarodowego oraz rozwija nowe innowacyjne produkty, aby poszerzyć swoją ofertę. Zespół prowadzi obecnie negocjacje z partnerami z Francji, Hiszpanii, Urugwaju, Irlandii i Finlandii.

Forest machine is the most natural and effective way to access a forest fire area. Operations in difficult terrain come as second nature to them, and they have more than enough capacity in their hydraulic system for demanding conditions. The firefighting equipment is delivered to the fire location as a single package – and after it has been connected to forest machine hydraulics, the equipment is ready to operate.

The 10 m³ water tank of the firefighting equipment can be filled with its own pump from a natural water source or the tank of a fire truck. The water cannon has a range of 47 metres and a turning radius of 360 degrees. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to refill the tank. The filling hose is guided by the forwarder's boom and the strainer on the tank roof takes out the biggest debris. The water cannon is controlled with the remote control. The system draws its power from the hydraulics of the forwarder.

Продукт FeltBox – це бездротовий маршрутизатор, який підключає лісогосподарські машини до додатка FeltLog. Цей додаток дозволяє передавати інформацію на комп'ютер, а також отримувати дані. Двосторонній зв'язок дозволяє оператору лісозаготівельної машини отримувати завдання і передавати виробничі дані по всьому ланцюгу створення вартості. Виробничі дані завантажуються в центральну базу даних, і користувач має повний контроль над тим, які дані передаються. FeltBox можна легко встановити на будь-яку лісогосподарську машину, незалежно від виробника, за доступною ціною. Система використовує доступ через смартфон для регулярного оновлення і передачі інформації. Додаткове підключення до Інтернету не потрібне.

На сьогоднішній день понад 100 рішень FeltGis встановлено в Норвегії і стільки ж тестуються в різних країнах. Команда FeltGis активно працює над розробкою як індивідуалізованих, так і орієнтованих на ринок рішень для національного і міжнародного ринку і має конкретні плани щодо розробки нових інноваційних рішень в майбутньому і розширення свого продуктового портфеля. Команда FeltGis зараз веде перемовини із зацікавленими сторонами з Франції, Іспанії, Уругваю, Ірландії та Фінляндії. 

A digital coaching, assistance and feedback system is designed to improve the productivity and job satisfaction of forest machine operators with reduced mental stress and to make the training of junior staff more attractive and efficient. The overall objective is to make recommendations for the future development and implementation of an operator interface with optimal timing of feedback interpretation for decision support. The prototype of the digital coach will be integrated in forestry machines in Germany and Scandinavia and will also be used as a test environment in the simulators at FBZ. In the evaluation of the use cases the improvement of the forest-wood logistics chain will be critically assessed. In addition, the evaluation will assess how well the project meets the market requirements. The project consortium's approach to training is to ensure that the knowledge acquired can be optimally applied by the users.

Le taux de mécanisation pour la récolte des peuplements de feuillus n'est que de 10 % et la mécanisation en sylviculture est très limitée. L'utilisation d'exosquelettes en forêt permettrait d'assister l'opérateur dans son travail, de lui faciliter la tâche tout en visant à préserver sa santé, sans bien sûr remettre en cause sa sécurité. Il s'agit d'une solution hybride qui combine l'acuité du travail manuel avec la force et l'endurance d'une machine, tout en restant évidemment abordable. Doter le personnel de terrain d'exosquelettes ergonomiques, adaptés au travail en forêt, est une solution intermédiaire et complémentaire entre la mécanisation et le travail manuel, permettant de débloquer certaines situations difficiles. Chercher à augmenter la capacité humaine au lieu de la remplacer est aussi un moyen de répondre aux différentes attentes des citoyens (maintien des emplois en milieu rural, acceptabilité sociale des sites forestiers) et de valoriser le travail en forêt (et le secteur) en favorisant ce type d'initiatives.
